The Magnum Tactical 2 PT comes with the addition of 1" wide nylon strap on each end. The 1" wide nylon strap and its buckle system offers a secure and quiet attachment for firearms with permanent/fixed swivels or slotted stocks. Many tactical firearms and some hunting rifles come with fixed swivels, slots, or molded sections where they need more than just a swivel to attach a sling. The 1" wide nylon strap attachments are also easily removed exposing existing Super Steel Swivels on the sling. This allows the sling to also be attached to any studded firearm as well.
The sling is designed to be used in 2 entirely different ways. As a conventional 2 PT with over the conventional shoulder carry, 3/4 backpack position, and as a conventional shooting sling. As well, the sling is adjustable allowing it to be lengthened out. This allows the firearm to be carried in a front and ready position (similar to a 3 PT sling). In this front and ready position, as the firearm is shouldered, the sling stretches to fit. This tension results in a more stable platform when shooting.
All our slings are constructed of a high-grade synthetic rubber. This material has a life expectancy of 40+ years without dry rot. This sling is impervious to the weather, quiet, non-slip, shock-absorbing, UV stabilized, and stays flexible to -40 degrees below zero.
